- The first foreign company in the Czech water market
- Ondeo Services (earlier Lyonnaise des Eaux) founded its subsidiary Lyonnaise Czech Republic, Ltd. as the first foreign investor in water service in the Czech Republic in 1991.
- The Ondeo Company, also known as Lyonnaise des Eaux, was the first foreign company in the water service, which started operating in former Czechoslovakia in the early 1990s. After its division into two states, this company developed their activities to the fullest especially in the Czech Republic.
- During more than 10-year-long operation in the Czech market the Ondeo company/SUEZ Environnement managed to join 10 water treatment companies all over the Czech Republic. Nowadays after a few realized corporate consolidations it is present in 6 water treatment companies.
- These are the operation type of companies working in big towns such as Brno, Ostrava, Karlovy Vary, Sumperk and Benesov, and many other towns and municipalities mostly in the regions surrounding these towns.
